The engine oil level

The oil level on the dipstick

a - minimum,

b - normal,

c - maximum

Location marks MIN and MAX on the dipstick oil

Preliminary Steps

Place the vehicle on level ground.

Check the engine oil level before starting the engine, but not earlier than 5 minutes after switching off the engine.

Butter

Pour in the engine engine oil only prescribed by the manufacturer.

Handle dipstick oil painted in bright color.

After stopping the engine, wait 5 minutes for oil to drain into the oil pan.

Then, remove the dipstick, wipe it with a clean cloth and insert the probe again until it stops.

Finally, remove the dipstick again and see at what level of oil is:

and - oil must be topped up. It is quite possible that the oil level after topping the mark was in the area (b).

b - Oil can be topped up. It may happen that the oil level after topping up will be in the zone of mark (s).

c - Oil must not be topped up.

In severe engine operating conditions, such as extended highway driving on summer, when towing a trailer or slow driving in the mountains, the oil level should be possible to keep the level in the zone (s), but not higher.
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the dipstick Engine oil (A).
2. Using a clean cloth, wipe the dipstick from oil residues. Insert the probe into the engine and repeatedly take it.
3. Determine the level of oil in the engine, which must be between the MIN and MAX marks on the dipstick. The quantity of oil between the MIN and MAX is 1 liter.

4. Remove the oil filler cap and fill with the required amount of oil into the engine.
