Cruise control

To free the driver from having an accelerator pedal movement to maintain the desired speed is the cruise control, which provides a constant set speed above about 30 km / h, if the engine can provide this.
A warning

Cruise control should not be included in the heavy traffic and adversely VMC road conditions (icy roads, poor content of the crude road gravel surface).

Cruise control is carried out and sliding switch A push button in located on the steering column switch indicators and headlamps.

Inclusion

Turning the cruise control is performed by moving the switch A to position "EIN".

Installation (entry in the memory) of the desired speed

When the desired speed is reached the movement, enough to momentarily press the button in the (FIX). Now you can take your foot off the accelerator pedal. Speed can be increased in the usual way with the accelerator pedal. After the pedal is released, the cruise-pin role reduce speed to a predetermined first value. This, however, does not apply when the predetermined speed for more than 5 minutes, was exceeded by more than 10 km / h. In this case, re-set the desired speed.
A warning

For a given speed of the first to be returned only when the speed is not too high for the immediate future traffic conditions.

Changing a given speed

Reducing the set speed

The set speed can be reduced by pressing in.

Each keystroke B, the rate is decreased stepwise. If you hold down the key, the speed is reduced automatically moving the thrust of the accelerator. When the key is released the speed achieved is entered into.

If you release the button when the speed is below 30 km / h drive cleared. We must now re-establish the desired speed button in after the acceleration of the car to a speed of 30 km / h.

Increasing the set speed

The set speed can be increased without pressing the accelerator pedal movement of the switch A to position AUFN.

Each time you press the light switch to the left sliding speed is increased stupencha. If you move the switch to the left and hold it in this position, the speed increases automatically moving the thrust of the accelerator. When the switch is released the speed achieved is entered into.

Short trip cruise control

Vehicles with manual transmission

Short trip cruise pin Rola is made by pressing the brake or clutch pedal or shift the switch A to position AUS (without fixing it).

Contributed to this point in memory the value of the set speed is saved.

To return to the previously set speed when the pedal is released should the clutch or brake to move the switch A fully to the left.

A warning

It only returns to the previously set speed when the speed is not too high for the immediate future traffic conditions.

Cars with automatic transmission

Short off the cruise control is done by pressing the brake or clutch pedal or shift the switch A to position AUS (without fixing it).

Contributed to this point in memory the value of the set speed is saved.

To return to the previously set speed when the pedal is released should the clutch or brake to move the switch A fully to the left.

A warning

It only returns to the previously selected speed, when the speed is not too high for the immediate future traffic conditions.

In addition, the cruise control is temporarily disabled and when the selector is moved to position N or 1 (4-speed), and in position 2 (5-speed).

Contributed to this point in the value of the set speed memory is erased.

Remembering the selected speed

If, however, short-term disconnect has not been in the memory of any speed or the specified speed has been erased, you can set a new desired speed as follows: slide the switch A fully to the left and hold it in this position for as long as the desired speed is reached or quickly press B. The memory speed will be entered when you press the keys.

Switching off the cruise control

Vehicles with manual transmission

The final off the cruise control switch A shift is carried all the way to the right (lock in position AUS), or - the vehicle is stationary - off the ignition.

Cars with automatic transmission

The final off cruise control by moving the selector:

- In the position P, N or R;
- Position 1 (4-speed);
- Position 2 (5-speed)

or
