Engine compartment
A warning  Be especially careful when working in the engine compartment!
Turn off the engine, remove the ignition key from the lock.
Firmly apply the parking brake.

If you want to work on the fuel system or on the electrical equipment - Always disconnect the battery from the electrical system;
