Side airbags
Location side airbag in the front seat backrests
Along with airbags for driver and front passenger in the front seat mounted side airbags. The volume of the side airbags is 12 liters. The side airbags are located in the backside of the front seats and protect the driver and passengers in side collisions. Depending on the direction of impact are triggered only those airbags that are closest to the point of impact. Side impact is determined by a sensor, which is located under the front seat. Based on information from this sensor the control unit determines the force of impact and, if necessary, appropriate airbag.
