Operating conditions Engine oil
Depending on the operating conditions of engine oils are exposed to large enough variable loads. It is therefore important to ascertain the effect of operating conditions on lubricants.
In engines, working a long time at high speeds, or full load, the oil reaches a high temperature.
Under the influence of heat and oxygen, the oil begins to oxidize.
Oxidation products evaporated oil, especially mineral, and can be deposited as a lacquer on top of the piston, in the grooves of the piston rings and valve stem. This can lead to coking valve plates.
