Removing and installing the fuel rail
The fuel rail is removed for replacement in case of damage (breaking of unions), to replace the injectors or to gain access to other nodes. You will need: the keys "10", "12". NOTE The need to disconnect the hose from the fuel filter, instead of the ramp due to the fact that in order to detach it from the rail requires a special tool (see. Below useful advice), which it is appropriate to use when replacing a hose or a ramp. |
HELPFUL HINTS The tip of the fuel hose attached to the ramp on the nozzle ramp chuck. To mitigate this clip you need to buy a special device or make it their own, as described below. |
Wrap a strip of sheet metal fitting ramp to obtain a semblance of sleeve ... ... Push the plug in the hose so that it was possible to unclench foot collet chuck ... ... And disconnect the hose from the union of the ramp.
| | 3. Remove from the union of the fuel pressure regulator vacuum hose. | 4. Disconnect the hose from the pressure regulator fuel dumping, squeezing his retainers. |
| | 5. Move the top latch pad wiring harness injector ... | 6. ... and disconnect the connector. Similarly Disconnect the harness from the rest of the nozzles and the nozzles take away the harness side. |
| | 7. Remove the two screws on the arm the throttle cable to the intake pipe ... | 8. ... and take the rope in the direction together with the bracket. |
| | 9. Remove the two screws on the fuel rail to the intake pipe ... | 10. ... and remove the ramp, removing the nozzle from the inlet pipe holes. |
A WARNING When removing the ramp any of the injectors will be in the intake pipe, be sure to replace the lock of the nozzle. |
NOTE O-rings are replaced with new injectors during removal or dismantling of the fuel rail. |
12. Install the fuel rail in the reverse order of removal and disassembly, lubricate O-rings with engine oil nozzles. 13. By connecting the pipes to the ramp, start up the engine and check for leaks and seal piping nozzles.
