Design Features
Restraint System (SRS) vehicle combines a complex frontal airbags for the driver and seat belts for the driver and all passengers. Seat belts for the driver and front passenger side rear seat inertia. For the average passenger in the rear seat lap belt is provided.
A WARNING The airbag does not replace seat belt. Moreover, when the vehicle driver must be wearing a seat, as in the case of a traffic accident Airbag Deployment itself can cause a person not wearing a seat serious injury. |
The SRS includes: - The driver airbag module located in the steering wheel hub and a shell consisting of a folded airbag and gas generator; - An electronic control unit mounted under the floor of the tunnel lining and control systems; - seat belts. The force of impact in a traffic accident determines the electronic control unit (ECU) passive safety systems with electronic accelerometers. At a signal from the accelerometer control unit activates the driver's airbag. If the vehicle is equipped with pretensioners driver, the computer receives a signal from the accelerometer, before activation of the airbag increases belt tension. Pretensioner ensures timely response to emergency vehicle deceleration, pulling the driver's seat to the back, and also eliminates its further movement forward by inertia and personal injury from the airbag triggered. When a frontal collision of a certain strength computer security commands the pyrotechnic unit pretensioner.
NOTE Mechanism pretensioner always actuated before the airbag. |
