Parking brake

Always set the parking brake before leaving the car. When the parking brake when the ignition key is in the "ON" (On.) Or "START" (starter) in the instrument cluster warning lamp parking brake. Before beginning operation, make sure the parking brake is fully off and the indicator lamp is off.

To activate the parking brake, pull the lever up until it stops.

To turn off the parking brake, pull the parking brake lever up slightly and press the button on the end of the handle. Then, press the button, lower the lever down.

A warning

Driving with the parking brake applied will result in increased premature wear of the brake linings.
