Check the fluid level of steering hydrostrengthening (every 4800 km (3000 miles) or once every 3 months)
In contrast to the manual operation of the steering system hydrostrengthening directly related to the condition and the level of hydraulic fluid from time to time need to change. Reservoir fluid hydrostrengthening steering system located on the pump system in front of the engine. | - For the inspection, you must install the front wheels in straight-ahead position, and the engine is shut down.
- Previously wipe the reservoir cap and the area around it with a clean cloth. This helps to prevent ingress of dirt into the hydraulic system during inspection.
- Turning, remove the cover and touch to determine the temperature of the liquid at the end of the rod probe.
| The probe liquid level measurement system hydrostrengthening wheel mounted in the lid of the tank system - to remove the cap, turn counterclockwise. |
- Wipe the dipstick with a clean rag, insert it into place, and then remove and re-vote on it the liquid level. The liquid level must be at the desired level, regardless of whether it is hot or cold (see. Graphic below).
| The rod probe is equipped with labels to assess the correct level of both cold and hot hydraulic fluid power steering. |
- Topping up directly at the tank, in order to avoid using the spray hopper.
- If you want to maintain the required level of regular and frequent topping up fluid should carefully check all hoses and couplings hydraulic circuit steering gear for signs of leaks.
