- Install a drain fitting the radiator capacity to receive a large amount of coolant in it. - While the cooler flows, check the condition of radiator hoses, heater hoses, and all the hose clamps (see. Section Check and replacement of hoses passing under the hood (every 4800 km (3000 miles) or once every 3 months)).
- Replace any damaged hoses and clamps.
- After the final rinse the radiator drain the system with fresh water from a garden hose. Washing continues as long as the radiator starts to clean water flows. - Leaving open the radiator cap, start the engine (the car should be installed in a well-ventilated room or outdoors). Wait for the opening of the thermostat (coolant will start to circulate through the radiator and upper hose latter warms).
- Turn off the engine and let it cool. Top up with the required amount of coolant to raise its level flush with the jaws of a jellied mouth of a radiator.
- Squeeze the upper radiator hose, drove him out of the air, and then, if necessary, add coolant. Replace the radiator cap.
- Start the engine, allow it to warm up to normal operating temperature and check for leaks.
