Checking, cleaning and replacement of the hose system of continuous crankcase ventilation (CCV) (6 cylinder engines) (every 48 000 km (30,000 miles) or every two years)
Check Six-cylinder engines are equipped with a continuous crankcase ventilation (CCV), which performs the same function that the system PCV, however, instead of the control valve in the cylinder head cover is installed rubber liner-nozzle orifice therein. Insert a plastic hose connected to the inlet conduit. | - When running at idle engine disconnect the hose from the CCV rubber grommet.
- Put a finger to the opening of the hose. If vacuum is not felt, check the patency of the hose port inlet pipe or liner. If necessary, replace defective hoses.
- If the vacuum hose end is not there, turn off the engine, remove the insert-fitting hose and wash solvent. Cracked or damaged as a result of the aging of the material hose and replace the liner.
| - To clean the calibrated hole liner system CCV can use the paper clip.

- Install the insert and the hose in place, securely connecting them to the cylinder head cover.
