Removing and installing radiator and cooling system expansion tank
| Before proceeding with the procedure wait full cooling of the engine. |
| - Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
- Drain the cooling system (Head of Adjustment and routine maintenance). If the cooler is relatively new, or is in a satisfactory condition, save it for future use.

Removal and installation of the cooling system expansion tank | Before proceeding with the procedure wait full cooling of the engine. |
| - Remove the filler cap and empty the tank cooling system (Head of Adjustment and routine maintenance), drain all the liquid from the tank.
- Loosen hose clips and disconnect the hose from the tank.
- Give the screws / nuts and remove the tank.
| - Give the screw and nut, remove the hose (arrow) and remove the coolant expansion tank from the engine.
|
- Install in reverse order.
|
|
Removing radiator | - Loosen the hose clamps, remove from their fittings radiator hoses. If the hoses are "baked onto" grasp them closer to the end of the self-locking pliers, and try rotating the, then remove them from the unions - try not to damage the fittings Old or damaged hoses should be cut from unions and the assembly replaced.
- Disconnect the surge tank hose from the radiator filler neck.
- Remove (by prying them) two clamps securing the front hood rubber seal, thus providing access to the two bolts from the upper radiator support (panel fixed on its nameplate information). Give bolts.
- Give the other mounting bolts and remove the radiator support with locking bonnet and attached drive cable. Put the support side.
| - Remove the radiator support together in the lock the bonnet and set it aside.
|
- Give the screws that secure the fan shroud to the radiator, and then slide the cover to the side of the engine.
- If the vehicle is equipped with AT, disconnect from the back of the radiator cooling line transmission fluid (Head Automatic transmission). To collect the spilled liquid, use the drain capacitance.
- Zakuporte lines and fittings.
- Give fixing screws and carefully remove the radiator from the engine compartment. Do not pour coolant from the radiator on the painted surfaces of the car (antifreeze aggressive towards them).
| - When removing the radiator from the engine compartment, take care not to damage the plate on the blade and the fan casing (arrows).

Install radiator After removal of the radiator can be checked for signs of leakage and damage. If the radiator is in need of repair, it should be sent to a specialized workshop or dealer branch having at their disposal the appropriate equipment. When removing the radiator of the car should be to memorize the location and how to install various rubber mounts and seals (top, bottom and sides). At the assembly they must be set exactly on the former places. The remains of insects and old leaves can be removed from the gaps between the fins with a soft brush or compressed air. Be careful not to bend the plate and not to cut your fingers on them. When flushing the radiator direct a jet of air only from the engine in the opposite direction. | - Check the radiator support to the signs of aging of the material rubber pads and make sure they do not forgotten during the installation of the radiator in place.
- Install in reverse order.
- After installing refill the cooling system with a mixture of the desired composition (see chap. Adjustment and routine maintenance).
- Start the engine and check for signs of leakage of coolant. Let the engine warm up to normal operating temperature, as evidenced by the heating of the upper radiator hose. Again, check the coolant level, if necessary refilled.
- When the work on the AT-equipped vehicle, also check the transmission fluid level, if necessary refilled.
