Removing and installing intake manifold / exhaust manifold
 | Before proceeding with the procedure, let the engine cool completely. |
 | As the intake manifold and exhaust manifold gasket are common, their removal is usually done at the same time. All studs and bolts must be wetted before the giving of penetrating oil. |
Withdrawal | - Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
- Dampen a penetrating oil thread mounting studs and exhaust manifold bolts to the collector a reception pipe of the exhaust system.
- Remove the air cleaner assembly (Head of the Power supply system and exhaust).
- Disconnect the throttle cable, the throttle mode kickdown (AT models only) and Tempostat (if available) from the throttle body.
 | - Disconnect the throttle body throttle cable, the throttle mode kickdown and Tempostat (if provided).

- Mark and disconnect from the exhaust manifold all vacuum lines and electrical connectors.
- Relieve pressure and disconnect the fuel supply line and fuel return from the fuel line assembly (Chapter power supply system and exhaust). Plug the open ends of lines.
- Loosen the belt drive belt (Head of Adjustment and routine maintenance).
- Remove the intake manifold system hydrostrengthening steering pump with bracket and set aside, without disconnecting from it hoses. Make sure that the pump has been installed under the bottom to avoid leakage of hydraulic fluid from it.
- Remove the fuel rail with injectors (Head of the Power supply system and exhaust).
- Give nuts / bolts of the inlet pipeline.

- Gently pull the pipe from the engine, removing the guide pins on the cylinder head, then remove it from the engine compartment.
- Give two bolts and nuts to the exhaust manifold receiving pipe exhaust system and disconnect the pipe from the collector. O-ring discard.
- Remove the exhaust manifold.

Setting | - Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces, removing all traces of the old gasket material.
- If the pipe / collector to be replaced, be sure to replace the old with all fixture has been moved.
- Replace the cylinder head gasket new, using it to fix the guide bushings. Install the exhaust manifold and tighten the nuts by hand.
- Freely set the cylinder head intake manifold.
- Install the mounting bolts of the pipeline and tighten all fasteners shown in the accompanying illustration on the right with demanded effort. Please note that the efforts of the extreme tightening bolts are different from others.

- Install the remaining components is made in the reverse order of removal. The joint assembly of a reception pipe exhaust system and the exhaust manifold is installed a new sealing ring.
- Start the engine and check for fuel leaks, the exhaust gas and the loss of vacuum.
