| 1. Connect the scanner to the diagnostic connector. |
| 2. In the absence of the scanner, connect a digital voltmeter between terminals 1 and 3 of the connector. |
3. Turn on the ignition without starting the engine and measure the output voltage of the sensor. Output voltage: 300-900 mV | 4. If the voltage is different from that given in the specification, loosen the screws that secure the sensor and adjust the tension by turning the sensor. | Rotate the sensor clockwise to increase the output voltage. After the adjustment, securely tighten the screws. |

5. Turn the ignition off. |
