- Remove the generator (see. Section Removal and installation of the generator).
- Lock the shaft of the generator (2) from turning by threading in a two-way screwdriver hex head (4), release the flanged nut (1).
- Remove the multi-ribbed drive pulley (3).
- Installation is in the reverse order.

- Remove the protective cap (4).
