Removal and installation of stalk

1. Set the wheels straight.
2. Disconnect the negative (-) cable of the battery when the ignition is off. You must first remove the air filter box of the passenger compartment.

Before disconnecting the cable, find out the radio security code, if any, address to Section Replacement of the battery. Be sure to follow safety precautions when handling the bag, refer to Section safety instructions for airbag.

3. Remove steering wheel, refer to Section Removal and installation of the steering wheel.

Operation lifting and car installation on supports is connected with danger! Therefore, prior to the operation to check out the Poddomkrachivanie and towing Introduction to management.

4. Remove the bolts (1) contact with the helix facing right front wheels so that you can remove the spiral. Do not remove the screws completely. Otherwise contact spiral is disassembled it again and have to collect in the middle position (work HUNDRED).

5. Carefully remove the contact spiral stalk. Connector stalk which automatically detach.
6. Remove the 3 screws.

7. Release the stalk connectors (1) by compressing and remove the stalk.

1. Remove the cover under the dashboard, please refer to the appropriate section.
2. Disconnect the plug switch Tempostat (2) of the ignition switch.

3. Remove the stalk switch Tempostat switch, if installed, and remove the plug from the stalk.

Be sure to follow safety precautions when handling the bag, refer to Section safety instructions for airbag.

1. Make sure that the wheels of the car are right.
2. Dock Connector stalk and set the switch in place.
3. Insert the 2 connectors in the switch and lock.
4. If there is Tempostat, Dock connector of the ignition switch and replace the cover under the dashboard, please refer to the appropriate section.
5. Fix the steering column switch with three screws.
6. Establish a contact spiral all the way to the steering shaft. Lock connector.

7. Attach the 2 connector. At the same time, take care to coincide both markings (arrows on an illustration).

8. Replace the steering wheel. Please observe the safety precautions when handling the bag, refer to Section safety instructions for airbag.
9. Connect the earth cable (-) battery when the ignition is switched off. Replace the cabin air filter box. If necessary, enter the code for the radio and set the time on the clock.
