Replacing the battery of the emergency call Tele-Aid

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Turn on the emergency call in maintenance mode:

?� Switch on the ignition.
?� Turn on the phone.
?� Dial on the handset * # 4610 #. Confirm with "OK" message that appears ?�Kein Telematikdienst?� (?�tele-information service is not").
?� Switch off the ignition.
?� Turn off the phone.
2. Remove the bottom of the trunk lid.
3. Remove the eye bolts on the rear axle and remove the cover of the control unit.
4. Remove the two screws securing the cover and remove the control unit ?�TELEAID?�.
5. Disconnect the battery connector and remove the battery.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Insert a new battery. Carefully Dock and lock the connector.
2. Replace the control box cover and secure it with screws.
3. Turn off service:

?� Switch on the ignition.
?� Confirm using the "OK" message ?�Service-Mode verlassen?� (?�Leave service mode").
?� Confirm using the "OK" message that appears ?�Kein Telematikdienst?� (?�tele-information service is not").
?� Switch off the ignition.
4. Secure the control box cover.
5. Install the lower trunk lid.
