Removal and installation of the gauge of a stock of fuel

PERFORMANCE ORDER

On models corresponding complete set (code ET2) activate the service mode of the emergency call TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE). Turn on the auxiliary battery and connect it to a standard battery, then disconnect the negative cable last. 7 - Auxiliary battery 8 - terminal positive wire module 9 - negative terminal wire module W10 - Ground Battery If the fuel tank (1) is full, pump out from it about 8 liters of fuel (see. Section Emptying the fuel tank). Remove the carpeting in the luggage compartment of the vehicle. Unscrew the gauge of a stock of fuel (2). Disconnect from the gauge (2) the fuel intake (4) and a vent hose (5), - plug the open ends of the nozzles. Disconnect the electrical wiring (6) and remove the sensor assembly (2) from the fuel tank. Installation is in the reverse order. Finally, deactivate the service mode of TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE) and clean the processor memory board self-diagnostic system (see chap. Systems of an electric motor).
