Removal and installation of the motor drive ventilation flap

Details of installation of the stepper motor (M2 / 4), the drive ventilation flap

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Disconnect the negative cable from the battery, then remove the instrument panel (see chap. Body).
Remove the support bracket to the casing of the evaporator of the floor panel (see. Section Removal and installation of evaporator K / V and its casing).
Remove the three screws (1) (head type TORX), disunite a socket (3) and remove the electrical motor (M2 / 4) drive the air damper to the housing heater / evaporator (in the area of the bulkhead).
Installation is in the reverse order.
Finally, it should make the normalization of the electric motor (M2 / 4) with the reader STAR DIAGNOSIS, - ask for help from the service station Mercedes-Benz.
Do not forget to clean the processor memory on-board self-diagnostic system (see chap. Systems of an electric motor).
Make sure of serviceability of functioning of system K / V.
