Removal and installation of compressor K / V
Petrol models Details of installation of compressor K / V on petrol models | - Make discharging the air conditioning system in a specialized service stations.
- Remove supporting the fan assembly (see. Section Removal and installation of auxiliary fan assembly).
- Remove the condenser K / V (see. Section Removal and installation of the capacitor system K / V).
- Remove the radiator cooling system (see. Section Removal and installation of the radiator).
- Remove the accessory drive belt (see chap. Engine).
- Disconnect the connector (A9x1) electrical compressor K / V.
- Remove the screws (2) and remove the front (4) and pressure (3) lines of a refrigerator path - immediately shut off the open ends of lines and couplings to prevent the ingress of moisture into the channel, make a replacement O-rings (5).
- Remove the fastening screws (1) and remove the compressor assembly (A9) system K / V.
- Remove the receiver-dryer assembly (see. Section Removal and installation of receiver-dryer) - the receiver must be replaced without fail. Do not forget to plug the open ends of the refrigerator lines.
- Installation is in the reverse order
| Screws (1) must be tucked into place before installing the compressor. |
- Make sure that the system has been added necessary (according to the number of replaced components - see. the amount of refrigerant oil. Do not forget to grease before installing the new O-rings with compressor oil.
- Start the engine and let it run at idle speed for about 4 minutes with the maximum cooling capacity to air conditioning, - the temperature of air supplied to the cabin through the vents of the central duct in the instrument panel should not fall below the value of + 5 ? C.
- Make sure there are no signs of leakage from the refrigerator path.

| - Drain the cooling system, in the conditions of a specialized service station make a discharge air conditioning system.
- Remove the receiver-dryer assembly (see. Section Removal and installation of receiver-dryer), - replacement of the receiver should be carried out every time after opening the refrigerator path. Do not forget to plug the open ends of the refrigerator lines.
- Remove the radiator cooling system (see. Section Removal and installation of the radiator).
- On appropriately staffed models (code H12), remove the additional heater assembly (see. Section Removal and installation of auxiliary heater STH (with appropriate equipment)).
- Remove the accessory drive belt (see chap. Engine).
- Remove the left sleeve tract pressurization system.
- Disconnect the connector (A9x1) electrical compressor K / V.
- Remove the screws (1 and 3) and remove the front (2) and pressure (4) of the line refrigerator path - immediately shut off the open ends of lines and couplings to prevent the ingress of moisture into the channel, make a replacement O-rings.
- Remove the mounting bolts (5) and remove the compressor assembly (A9) system K / V.
- Installation is in the reverse order.
| When installing a new compressor slightly relieve the pressure of it, complete with the compressor and the expansion valve is replaced, the front line and pressurized with sealing rings. |
- Adjust the level of refrigerant in the compressor, in conclusion, make sure the components of refrigeration and cooling (model code H12) tract for signs of leaks.
