Replacement of a sealing ring of a secondary shaft
Withdrawal Remove the transfer case. To remove the O-ring screw screw diameter approx. 4 mm into the sealing ring. Tighten the screw so that he found himself sandwiched between the sealing ring and metal. Tighten the screw is not too deep, so as not to damage the bearing is located below.
Setting Coat the new O-ring with ATF, especially carefully - working edges of a sealing ring. First, install the sleeve T10180 on the output shaft so as not to damage the O-ring.
Then press in new sealing ring with drift T10180 until it stops. It does not distort the O-ring (Fig. 3.68). Then check the level of oil ATF and add oil.
