Belt power steering pump
Belt will pull correctly if you click on it with your thumb between the two pulleys, it bends around 5 mm. V-belt tension is done by adding or removing spacers between the two halves of the pulley belt power steering pump.
Replacement and tension PERFORMANCE ORDER | | 1. Use the hex wrench to unscrew the union 3 bolts on a belt pulley while holding the pulley with a screwdriver (a) from turning. | 2. Remove the head pulley and the V-belt. | 3. Remember the position of spacers inside and outside. | 4. Fit the V-belt pulley half and install the spacers. | 5. If you need to tighten the belt more, remove the spacer washer 1 between the pulley halves and set it outside. | 6. Tighten pulley half 20 N ?� m. | A warning While tightening the screws, turn the pulley to avoid pinching the V-belt. The extra spacers evenly distributed behind and in front of the pulley.
