Removal and installation of the lock of the front door

When removing the front door lock (Fig. 11.60), proceed as follows: 1) Remove the front door trim panel; 2) Remove the noise insulation doors, as follows: - Remove the bracket 2, a piston 3 and a retainer 1; - Carefully remove the speaker audio system and sound insulation (in part); - Remove the part of the SIPS 4 together with the holder (2 screws);

- Pull the rubber seal of the guide; - Remove the bolt 1; - Pull down and remove the guide;

- Loosen the self-tapping screw 1; - Disconnect the handle on the door; - Slide the front and remove the glass (press latch 2 inside); - Remove the rod from the clamp on the handle side release; - Extract the harness clip from the bottom of the door; - Remove the end screws 3 and press the lock 4; - Remove the locking rod 5 with an internal lock; - Pull rod from the lock and remove the lock assembly;

- Remove the two screws 1 and remove the cover; - Push the latch from the bottom; - Push rod inside and remove the clamp; - Remove the door handle upwards;

- Insert the key into the lock; - Remove the screw 1, remove the ring 2 and the lever 3; - Carefully remove the spring 4, so that it can not escape; - Remove the lock with a key. The installation of the lock mechanism is as follows: - Lubricate the mechanism; - Put the O-ring; - Set the key code (if necessary); - Insert the key into the lock and set the mechanism of the door lock; - Put the spring with a lid; - Adjust the position of the latch and tighten the screw. Further assembly doors are made in the reverse order.
