Removing and installing bonnet
Removal and installation of the hood as follows: - Under the hood of a backup set;

- Remove the retainer bar lock. - Remove the hinge bolts; - Install in reverse order (torque the bolts to 24 Nm); - Adjust the bonnet. Removal and installation of elements of the hood as follows: - Remove the soundproofing panel, which carefully with a flat screwdriver, remove the retaining plastic tabs; - Remove and windshield washer hose; - Remove the seals, 2 pcs. for headlamps and 1 pc. across the hood; - Remove the grille; - Put the elements on the new hood; - Put the grate; - Put the windshield washer hose; - Put noise insulation panel; - Put the gaskets (use double-sided adhesive tape).
NOTES Be sure to treat the new hood anticorrosive composition. Adjust the windscreen washer. |

- Longitudinal and transverse adjustment (rear): loosen the screws and adjust the position of the hood (Tightening torque 10 Nm); - Lateral adjustment (front): Loosen the lock bolts and push them to the side until it stops; - Vertical (in front), turn the shock absorbers;

Replace the hood release cable (Fig. 11.52) as follows (adjustment possible): - Remove the three screws on the lock; - Disconnect the cable from the castle; - Remove the wheel arch; - Pull the cable through the wheelhouse; - Remove the screws that secure the hood release handle located in the cabin; - Remove the cable from the handle; - Pull the cable through the wheelhouse; - Installation is in the reverse order, put a new clutch cable (torque mounting bolts 8 Nm).
