Replacing the tailgate

Replace the tailgate (Fig. 11.76) as follows:
- Remove the trim panel of the tailgate;
- Remove the rear light assembly;
- Disconnect the lock rod from the clamp bracket;
- Remove the three screws on the lock and remove the lock;
- Disconnect.
Install in reverse order, with the following remarks:
- Connect the rod and adjust it;
- Pull back and secure the rod in the bracket clamp;
- Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm.
