1. Measure the inner diameter of the brake drum. Indicator of hour type check up palpation of a brake drum. Replace the brake drum if the inner diameter of the drum exceeds the limit. Maximum diameter: 200 mm The beating of the drum brake: 0.015 mm |
| 2. Measure the thickness of the rear brake pads. Replace all the brake pads on the same axle of a vehicle, even if only one block has a thickness less than the maximum allowable. Minimum thickness: 1.0 mm |
3. Check the brake linings for contamination with oil or grease, deterioration and cracks. |
4. Examine the wheel cylinders for leakage of brake fluid. |
5. Inspect the brake shield for wear or damage. |
