Condition check, removal and installation of a cover of the distribution chains, and its stars
Removing the Cover | - Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
- Remove the fan, fan casing and the water pump pulley (Head of System of cooling, heating and air conditioning).
- Remove vibration damper Crankshaft (Section Replacement of a forward epiploon of a cranked shaft).
- Remove air conditioning compressor and the generator and set aside, without disconnecting them from the wires and hoses. Remove the brackets attached to the lid of the electrical circuit.
- Give sump bolts to cover the distribution chain and cover bolts to the engine block.
- Separate the cover of the distribution chain from the engine. If necessary, lightly Tap the release of her for the perimeter of a hammer with soft brisk. Temporarily plug the hole of the oil pan with a cloth to avoid being hit by debris and foreign objects.
- Strip the mating surface of the cover and the circuit block of the engine, removing all traces of oil and old gasket material.

Checking the status of the distribution chain | - Remove the pins of the crankshaft oil seals and replace the bolt of vibration damper. Turn bolt for the crankshaft so that sagged party circuit.
 | - Remove the pins of the crankshaft oil seals, note that it is installed with the concave side of the engine, and then screw the bolt into place vibration damper.

- Apply a label bearing block. Shake the slack of the chain from side to side with your fingers, measuring the stroke. The difference between the two extreme positions of the magnitude of the deflection circuit. If the deflection exceeds 13 mm, replace the chain with asterisks.

Removing the supply chain Setting | - Make sure that the key is still the crankshaft was turned up. Note the location of the guide pin and the camshaft sprocket holes in the response of the shaft.

- Put an asterisk in the chain, placing the label distribution on one line and turn out. Install the assembly on the engine so that the line through the mark and crossed the center Stars.
- Install the camshaft sprocket bolt and tighten it with demanded effort. Replace the thrust pin and spring.
- To verify the installation of the distribution chain of a cranked shaft so that label distribution camshaft sprocket was in position for one hour. Thus the label crankshaft sprocket at the place where the next tooth is engaged with the chain link must be in the position for three hours. Between the marks must fit exactly 15 finger joints of the chain links.
 | - To verify the installation of the chain assembly, rotate the crankshaft clockwise so that the distribution chain labels of asterisks in the position shown in the figure, and count the number of finger joints of the chain links that fit between labels.

- Replace the pin of the crankshaft oil seals by placing it on the concave side of the engine.
- Coat both sides of the new cover gasket RTV sealant supply chain and attach the gasket to the unit.
- Before installing the cover, make sure that the one-piece gasket oil pan is not damaged or deformed. In case of defects gasket must be replaced (Section Removal, check of a condition and installation of the oil pump). It is expected that the construction of the sump will be replaced to ensure the prevention of leaks (Section Removal and installation of the oil pan).
- Coat both sides of the new cover gasket and the corners of the oil pan, and block sealing RTV, then install the new gasket on the block. Sealant temporarily fix the gasket.

- Replace the cover of the distribution chain on the block.
- For centering cover supply chain using vibration damper. Leave the old oil seal in place, as it may be damaged during the installation of the cap.
 | - For centering cover supply chain in the process of installation, use torsional vibration damper.

- Install cover bolts to the block and the pallet to the cover and tighten them with demanded effort.
- Replace radial seal in crankshaft (Section Replacement of a forward epiploon of a cranked shaft).
- By inserting the key in the pin of the crankshaft, install vibration damper (Section Replacement of a forward epiploon of a cranked shaft).
- The installation of the remaining components of the procedure in the reverse order of removal.
- Start the engine and check for leaks.
