Check the transmission fluid pressure

Check the transmission fluid pressure is performed in order to determine the condition of hydraulic components and whether there are leaks.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Apply the parking brake and V-Chock the front and rear wheels.
2. Start up the engine before warming up of a transmission to temperature 60 ~ 70 ? C.
3. Prior to testing, check the level of all fluids and, if necessary, bring them to normal.
4. Connect the engine tachometer.
5. Remove the splash guard on the left side under the front bumper.
6. Connect a pressure gauge OK201 190 AA0 to the union pressure test. For access to the union it is desirable to raise the vehicle.

Testing

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Start up the engine.

2. Check the engine speed of the engine idling and the selector position "P".

The frequency of rotation of the crankshaft of the engine idling:
For Europe and Australia: 750-850 min -1
Total: 700-800 min -1

3. Move the selector lever to position "D" and the pressure gauge to read the pressure.

A warning

To avoid damage to the gearbox, follow steps 4 and 5 for 5 seconds.

4. The left foot press to lock the brake pedal and the right foot gently press the accelerator pedal.
5. When the engine speed of the engine is no longer increases, the pressure gauge to read the pressure and release the accelerator pedal.

A warning

Engine operation for at least one minute at idling speed transmission fluid cools and prevents deterioration of its properties.

Before each subsequent testing for a sufficient time and cool the transmission.

6. With the engine running, move the selector lever to position N and leave the engine running at idle speed for at least one minute.

7. Similarly measure the pressure in all positions of the selector lever:

Transmission Fluid Pressure, kPa

Items
On the frequency of idling
In the stall test
D, 2,1
392,4-882,9
784,8-1275,3
R
490,5-981,0
1373,4-1863,9

8. Remove the pressure gauge and close fitting cap.

Torque: 5,0-9,8 N ??? m

Evaluation of the test pressure of the transmission fluid

Transmission Fluid Pressure
Place possible malfunction
Low pressure in each position of the selector lever

Worn oil pump

Leaks in the oil pump, control valve and / or the transmission housing

Blocked pressure regulator valve

Low pressure in only two positions D and Leaking transmission fluid in a hydraulic drive clutch forward gears
Low pressure in only the position of R Leaking transmission fluid in a hydraulic drive of coupling the front of the lower gears and reverse, or reverse clutch
Pressure is higher than the specification Blocked pressure regulator valve or a linear solenoid valve
