Switch range gearbox



Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check that the starter only works when you turn the ignition key to the START position and selector lever to position P or N.
2. Check that the rear lights are lit only when moving the selector lever into position R, and the ignition key in position START.
3. Check that the position of the selector lever and the indicator chosen position coincide.
4. Otherwise, check the transmission range switch.

Check conduction

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Disconnect the switch of a range gearbox.
3. Check for continuity between the switch contacts range gearbox.
4. If the conductivity does not correspond demanded, adjust or replace the switch range gearbox.
5. Connect the switch of a range gearbox.
6. Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
