The temperature sensor of an automatic transmission

Check resistance

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the air filter and the intake of fresh air.

2. Connect the ohmmeter between terminals 5 and 8 socket.

3. Measure resistance while heating transmission (while driving).

4. Check that the resistance is reduced in accordance with the schedule and the table below.

5. Otherwise, replace the fluid in the gearbox, the temperature sensor, the leads and connector assembly.
