Testing of teamwork of an automatic transmission and the engine for the motionless car (stall test)
Testing is performed in order to determine whether there is slippage of the friction elements or irregularities in the hydraulic components.
A warning  Do not remove the radiator cap on a hot engine, as the departing couple may result in severe burns.
Close the radiator cap thick cloth and slowly remove the lid until the hiss of escaping steam.
After the termination of the steam outlet slowly unscrew and remove the cap from the radiator.

Testing
| PERFORMANCE ORDER | | 1. Start up the engine. | | 2. Check the engine speed of the engine idling and the selector position "P". The frequency of rotation of the crankshaft of the engine idling:
For Europe and Australia: 750-850 min -1
Total: 700-800 min -1 | | 3. Move the selector lever to position "R". |
A warning To avoid damage to the gearbox, follow steps 4 and 5 for 5 seconds.
| | 4. The left foot press to lock the brake pedal and the right foot gently press the accelerator pedal. | | 5. When the engine speed of the engine is no longer increasing, read tachometer readings and release the accelerator pedal. | | 6. With the engine running, move the selector lever to position N and leave the engine running at idle speed for at least one minute. |
A warning Engine operation for at least one minute at idling speed transmission fluid cools and prevents deterioration of its properties.
Before each subsequent testing for a sufficient time and cool the transmission.
| 7. Similarly swipe tests in the following positions selector lever:
- Position D;
- Position 2;
