Removal and installation of a rope assembly handbrake
| All the self-locking nuts and bolts must be replaced without fail! |
Front cable Details of installation of a pedal charging the parking brake
| - Details of installation of the front section of the rope assembly handbrake shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text.
- Make preload controller slack (the compensation lever) drive cable.
- Disconnect the cable (85) from the intermediate lever (91) and using the tool (043) to release it from its holder on the floor panel.
- Remove the cover mounted to the left under the dashboard.
- Remove the carpet.
- When using the tool (043), disconnect the cable (85), parking brake pedal (75), - try not to drop a rubber ring (85c).
- Give a nut, loosen the cable cover into the sheath well.
- Remove retainer (85a) and push the cable through the grommet (85b) in the transmission tunnel.
- Installation is in the reverse order. In conclusion unload controller slack (the compensation lever) and make adjustment of the parking brake (see. Section Adjusting the parking brake).

- Remove the parking brake shoes (see. Section Replacement of boots of a lay brake).
- Disconnect the cable (86) of the compensation lever (92).
- When using the tool (043) release the rope (86) of the clips on the floor panels.
- Release the rope (86) from the hub assembly.
- Installation is in the reverse order.
