Details of the installation of the water pump at the petrol models

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Remove the trim panel of the engine / air cleaner. Remove the fan assembly (see. Section Removal and installation of the cooling fan assembly). Drain the coolant from the radiator (see chap. Current care and maintenance). Remove the accessory drive belt (2) (see chap. Engine). Remove the drive belt tensioner accessory (see chap. Engine). Remove the hoses of the cooling path (4 and 5), - check the condition of fixing collars. If necessary, prepare replacement. Disconnect the hose (6) from the liquid heat exchanger of the engine lubrication system, - if necessary, prepare a removable collar. Remove the water pump pulley (7). Turn out fixing bolts and remove the pump assembly (8). Installation is performed in reverse order - do not forget to replace the gasket (9). Finally, check the cooling system for signs of leaks.

Diesel models

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Open the hood. Remove protection crankcase. Drain the cooling system (see chap. Current care and maintenance). Remove the finishing panels (1 and 2). Remove the fan assembly (see. Section Removal and installation of the cooling fan assembly). Set the screen to protect the radiator / condenser air conditioning system (equipped with a suitable support bracket metal or plastic plate of 400x680x1 mm). Remove the accessory drive belt (3). Disconnect the pump assembly (8) cooling hoses tract (4 and 5), - if necessary, prepare a removable fixing collars. Having hooked, remove the cap (6) of the guide roller (7). Remove the guide roller (7), which is placed under one of the bolts securing the pump assembly. Turn out fixing bolts and remove assemblage of the water pump (8). Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces and prepare a new gasket. Installation is in the reverse order. Finally, check the cooling system for signs of leaks.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Poddomkratte car and establish it on props. Remove protection crankcase. Drain the cooling system (see chap. Current care and maintenance). Remove the air cleaner (see chap. Power supply system and exhaust). Remove the fan assembly (1) (see. Section Removal and installation of the cooling fan assembly). Set the screen to protect the radiator / condenser air conditioning system (equipped with a suitable support bracket metal or plastic plate of 400x680x1 mm). Remove the boost air cooler (see chap. Power supply system and exhaust). Remove the accessory drive belt (3) (see chap. Engine). Remove the guide roller (4). Disconnect the water pump (7) hoses cooling path (5 and 6), - if necessary, prepare a removable fixing collars. Remove the fixing screws and remove the pump assembly. In order to ensure access to the cap screw (7c) through the opening in the pulley (8), rotate the crankshaft accordingly in the direction of normal rotation.
