Checking the battery
By the density of the electrolyte in the battery should be performed every 3 months to determine the loading capacity of the battery. Checks are made densitometer. When the density of the electrolyte is necessary to consider the temperature of the battery. If electrolyte temperature is below 15 ?� C for every 10 ?� less than this temperature from the measured density subtract value 0.007. For every 10 ?� C above 15 ?� add 0.007.
The density of the electrolyte in the battery should be in the following ranges:

The density of the electrolyte was measured in each bank. The density difference is 0.04 or more between any two banks indicates the loss of sulfation or the electrolyte plates. If the density of the electrolyte between the two any banks differs more than on 0.04 the battery must be replaced. If the density of the electrolyte below demanded, but identical in all banks, the battery needs recharging. In the case of a maintenance-free battery state accumulative RA can only be checked with a voltmeter. The battery with built-in indicator of the charge state of the battery is determined by the color of the indicator. Green color of the indicator corresponds to a fully charged battery. Black color of the indicator indicates the need for recharging. The blue color of the indicator indicates a low level of electrolyte in the battery.
