Replacement of bulbs of external illumination

Before replacing the bulb, remove the ambient light wire of weight from the battery. Remember that if the lamp just burned, it may be too hot. PERFORMANCE ORDER | 1. Open the hood. | | 2. To access the incandescent lamps, remove the right air intake. To do this, unscrew the two screws (A) securing the air intake. Press and, in this position, turn counterclockwise to extract the bulb from its socket. | 4. Insert a new bulb into the socket, and then, in this position, turn it clockwise to lock the bulb. | 5. Insert the cartridge with a bulb in the reflector. | 6. Replace the plastic cover lights. |

The lamp of the forward index of turns
PERFORMANCE ORDER | 1. Open the hood. | 2. Pull back on the wire loop that is fastened to the turn signal housing and unhook it. | 3. Move forward and remove the turn signal. | | 4. Turn the cartridge with a bulb counter-clockwise and pull it out of the turn signal housing. | 5. Press and in this position, turn the bulb counterclockwise to extract it from the cartridge. | 6. Insert a new bulb into the socket, press and in this position, turn the bulb clockwise to lock it in the holder. | 7. Insert the cartridge with a bulb in the turn signal housing and turn it clockwise until it clicks. | | 8. Insert the turn signal housing and move it all the way back. Note that the locking projections on the housing turn signal lights entered into the guides and the wings. | 9. Pull the wire loop back and secure it in the middle of the groove. |

Side turn signal lamp
Removal of the lateral repeater of turns
PERFORMANCE ORDER | 1. Carefully slide the follower turns forward and remove it from the wing. See fig. Removal of the lateral repeater of turns. | 2. Remove the cartridge with a bulb of the turn signal side. | 3. Remove the defective bulb from the socket and insert a new bulb into the socket. | 4. Insert the cartridge with the guides in the lateral repeater of turns until it locks. | 5. PERFORMANCE ORDER | 1. Open the trunk lid / tailgate. | 2. On cars Sedan fold tailgate trim at the location of the rear light. | 3. On cars Option, open the cover side of the luggage rack at the location of the rear light. | 4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the tail light. | | 5. Press the two catches of the lamp holders towards each other. | 6. Remove the bulb holder. | 7. Press and in this position, turn counterclockwise to extract the defective bulb out of its socket. | 8. Insert a new bulb into the socket, press and in this position, turn it clockwise to lock it in the holder. | 9. Insert the light bulbs in the tail light until it locks. | 10. On cars Sedan replace the trunk upholstery. | 11. Option cars close the lid luggage rack. | 12. Close the lid of the trunk / tailgate. |

Bulb license plate light
On cars Sedan lamp replacement must be performed service company "Volkswagen", because access to the lamp housing requires a special tool. Then it sets out the order of execution for the car option.

CARS SEDAN
An additional brake light is mounted on a shelf in the lower part of the rear window.
PERFORMANCE ORDER | 1. Open the trunk lid. | 2. Push back the two plastic spring retainer adjacent to the metal holder and remove the holder of bulbs down, see. Fig. Elements of fastening of the holder of bulbs additional brake light. | 3. Remove the bulb from the holder of the electrical connector. | 4. Remove the defective bulb out of the holder with a glass cap and insert a new bulb. See fig. Details of additional brake light. | 5. Connect the electrical connector to the holder of bulbs. | 6. Attach the light bulbs in the body, with spring clamps have to get in place. |

PERFORMANCE ORDER | 1. Remove the inner rear door trim. | 2. Press the tabs and pull out the clips from the additional bulbs brake light, see. Fig. Additional brake light on the vehicle variant. | 3. Remove the faulty bulb from the holder lamp with glass base and install in its place a new bulb. | 4. Insert the bulb holder into the housing, and the spring pins have to get in place. | 5. Install the inner rear door trim. |
