Temperature sensor fan
The temperature sensor should be checked if the engine is hot the fan is not included. Test condition: coolant thermostat, radiator and tube cooling system in good condition.
Temperature sensor fan is on the right at mid-height of the radiator (see. Fig. Radiator and fan). The temperature sensor has a two-stage switching. At high temperatures, it includes the fan on full speed.
Check PERFORMANCE ORDER | 1. Check the fuse ?19, replace if necessary. | 2. Check whether the hot radiator in the temperature sensor. | 3. Pull the plug from the sensor. In the cable connector to connect the first (+) terminal to terminal 1 (red / black cable), the fan should run at low speed. Then, connect the (+) terminal to terminal 2 (red / white cables), the fan should run at high speed (see. Table 1). If the fan works in both cases, replace the sensor. | 4. If the fan does not work or only works at one speed, check the wiring on the wiring diagram. Check the contacts and connections, check relays, if necessary. | 5. Tightening torque thermosensor 25 Nm. | 6. Check the operation of the new thermal sensor. Warm up the engine in motion and leave to idle until the fan turns on. |
