Speed sensor

The acceleration sensor is used to detect road roughness. The sensor signal is used by the engine control unit to prevent false misfire detection. The vehicle speed sensor is a Hall sensor mounted opposite the output shaft of the gearbox. The sensor converts the speed of the shaft of a transmission to a pulse signal output from the engine control unit.
