Checking the ball joints knuckle
Check the top of the ball joint without removing it from the vehicle

- Poddomkratte the front of the car and establish it on props.
- Assess the anther (8f) of the support (8), - for cuts and cracks is inadmissible.
- Firmly tugging the appropriate wheel (arrow), make sure there is no backlash in the support (8), - if necessary, replace the upper wishbone (6) (see. Section Removal and installation of hydraulic lines laid between GTZ and hydromodulator the ETS / ESP).

- Using an extractor remove the ball joint (6/7).
- Using the handset as a gate length of about 150 mm, estimate the smooth progress of the ball stud support in all directions - in the case of failures or signs of resistance biting replace the defective component.
- Assess the anther - for cuts and cracks is inadmissible.
- Establish a support on the regular place.
