Dropping the pressure in the fuel system, petrol engine
Location service valve (1/1) pressure relief fuel line engine series 111 Location service valve (1/1) for pressure relief engine fuel line of series 112 and 113 | | |
| | Before you get started, read the precautions given in the previous section. |
| After performing the following procedure, you just remove the excess pressure from the fuel system. The pipelines will be gasoline. Before disconnecting any fuel hose, take all necessary precautions. |
- The main components of fuel systems of gasoline engines are fuel tank disposed inside the fuel pump with the fuel supply sensor, fuel filter, injectors, pressure regulator, and a set of connecting lines.
- When the engine is running within the fuel supply path system is under pressure which persists for a sufficiently long period of time even after the ignition is switched off. Before disconnecting any of the components of the system pressure in bar should be reset.
- The simplest way to release the pressure in the fuel system is to start the engine when the extracted fuel pump fuse, - wait for spontaneous motor stop, then, to ensure the completeness of the pressure relief, rotate it several times a starter. If the engine fails to start, crank his starter for a few seconds. After finishing the procedure, turn the ignition off and return the removed fuse.
- At service stations in the supply pressure is released through the service valve located on a fuel distributive highway and working on the principle of a simple pin. Wrap a rag valve, remove the cap and press the nipple - do not forget at the end of the procedure to return the cap.
- Remember that after depressurization / removal of fuel from the power supply system at the start of the engine takes a few more than the usual time - have for a few seconds, turn the crankshaft starter as long as the system pressure is restored, and fuel fill all gasoline pipe lines.
