4 - sliding gear

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Details of installation of the switching mechanism of the transfer case shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text.
Remove the oil pump transfer case (see. Section Removal and installation of the oil pump transfer case).
Pull up, pull the intermediate shaft (2).
Pulling up, remove the shift fork (3).
Rinse all components, suede and wipe dry with compressed air.
Installation is in the reverse order.
Finally, check the transfer case for signs of leaks.
