Removing and installing gear reduction transfer case

Details of installation of the gear assembly of the transfer case

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Details of the installation of the reduction gear transfer case shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text.
Remove the gear shift transfer case (see. Section Removal and installation of the mechanism of switching of a distributing box).
Expand the reduction gear (1) in such a way as to allow access to the retaining ring (arrow).
Release the lock ring and at the same time push the bottom-up input shaft - remove and store in a safe place thrust washer (2).
Pull up, pull the reduction gear (1).
Rinse all components, suede and wipe dry with compressed air.
Installation is in the reverse order.
Finally, check the transfer case for signs of leaks.
