| - Illustrative material on the replacement of the gland of the front output shaft transfer case is shown in the illustrations, which include all the links in the text.
- Remove the plug (3) and the drain of the transfer case oil.
- Remove the transfer case (1) (see. Section Removal and installation of a distributing box) and secure it to the mounting stand (010) with the base plate (020).
- Remove the rear output flange (8) (see. Section Replacing the gland outlet flange rear propeller shaft).
- Remove the screws (6) and remove the servo motor (12), complete with speed sensor (7).
- Pull out and remove the speed sensor (7).
- Remove the bolts (5) and remove the cover (2).
- Pull out, remove the sprocket (13), complete with a drive circuit (13a).
- Remove the retaining ring (14) and remove the output shaft of the front axle (16).

- Having hooked a suitable screwdriver, remove the gland (17) of the front output shaft of his landing nest and put on the new one, using a suitable mandrel (030), - to secure the gland zastukivaniem planetary gear assembly (18) to prevent it from falling out.
- Replace the front output shaft (16) and secure it with the retaining ring (14), having tracked reliability of landing of the latter in the receiving groove.
- Install the chain drive assembly (13 and 13a).
- Priboltite cover (2), preliminarily cleaning the mating surfaces, and put a suitable sealant.
- Replace the servo motor (12) and a speed sensor (7), tighten mounting bolts (6).
- Install the rear propeller shaft flange (see. Section Replacing the gland outlet flange rear propeller shaft).
- Fill the transfer case fresh oil up to the level of the lower cut filler / level plug.
- Finally, start the engine and check the transfer case for signs of leaks.
