Removing and installing thermostat
Details of installation of the operating element of the thermostat 111 series engine
| - Details of installation of the operating element of the thermostat series engine 111 shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text.
- Drain the cooling system (see chap. Power supply system and exhaust).
- Remove the top front cover.
- Disconnect hoses cooling path (2 and 4).
- Remove the mounting bolts (1) and remove the cover (27) with built-in thermostat in her working element (27a) from the thermostat housing (30).
| To avoid irreversible damage to the operating element should not be removed from the cover! If necessary, the replacement element is made with the cover assembly. |
- Installation is in the reverse order.
- Finally, check the cooling system for signs of leaks.
