Check engine oil level



About every 1,000 km or before a long trip, check the engine oil level, top up if necessary. At 1000 km the engine should not consume more than 1.0 liters of oil. Greater consumption of signs of wear stem seals, piston rings or seals.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. The machine should stand when measured on a horizontal surface.
2. The engine must have an operating temperature.
3. After the engine stops, wait at least 3 minutes that oil has flown into the oil pan.
4. Remove the engine oil dipstick and wipe with a clean cloth.
5. Then insert the dipstick all the way back and remove. The oil level should be between the two marks.
6. Fill with fresh oil when the oil level comes close to the bottom of the label. The amount of oil from the mark "min" to "max" mark all engines is 1.5 liters.
A warning

Exceed the "max" mark can not be otherwise possible failure of the catalyst.


7. Fill through the oil filler neck on cylinder head cover. To fill apply appropriate grade oils and additives used.

A warning

Recklessly pouring various grades of oils unfavorable. If possible, do not mix oils of the same type, but different brands. Motor oils of the same type and the same brand, but with different viscosities, where necessary, by changing the summer and winter operation, can be added.
