1. Drain fuel from the filter, as described in subsection 1.20.3.1.13. |
2. Clean the outside of the fuel (1) and (2) (see. Fig. Fuel filter) and remove the filter, pre-cut the straps. |
3. Remove the retaining clip (5) and remove the control valve connected with the fuel line. |
4. Remove the fuel filter up. If present, remove the first clamp (A) (see. Fig. Valve draining). |
5. Install the new filter. |
6. Push the fuel lines and secure the clamps. Do not confuse the piping supply and return fuel. The arrows on the fuel filter indicate the direction of flow of fuel. |
7. Install the control valve with a new seal and secure the retainer (5) (see. Fig. The fuel filter). |
8. Check the system for leaks. To do this, start the engine and let it idle. After repeated gas supply fuel must flow through the transparent fuel line to the fuel pump without bubbles. |
