Fault diagnosis of diesel fuel injection system



Test conditions: errors at startup are eliminated; the fuel tank is filled, the mechanical part of the engine is working, the battery is charged, the starter rotates to the provisions of turnover.


A warning

Before unscrewing the fuel, clean their means of cold clearing.


CAUSE
SOLUTION
The engine does not start or runs poorly
The engine is not heated Check heating system
No voltage on the switch rod Connect the voltage indicator to the switch rod, switch off the ignition. The LED should be lit, otherwise find and eliminate breakage
The electromagnetic switch traction weakened, defective Check the secure connection and contact with the mass of the ignition switch. Turns on and off the ignition, and the thrust is to flip switch
Faulty fuel supply Check fuel supply
Fuel lines kinked, clogged, leaking, porous Clean fuel
Clogged fuel filter Replace the fuel filter
In the winter: ice in the filter and fuel lines Wheeled car in the heated garage and warm up the engine

Mixed up pustotelnye bolts piping supply and return fuel Install the hollow bolt correctly. Banjo bolt fuel return pipe is provided with a throttle return flow and is marked "OUT" to the hex head
Too much fuel
Dirty air filter Replace the filter element
Leaky fuel supply system Check by inspection all the fuel (supply, return and injection), fuel filter and fuel pump
Clogged fuel return pipe Blow return line from the fuel pump to the fuel tank. Replace bypass choke Banjo bolt fuel return pipe
Too high idle and limit turnovers Adjust the pace
