- Remove the transfer case (1) (see. Section Removal and installation of a distributing box) and secure it to the mounting stand (010) with the base plate (020).
- Having hooked a screw-driver, remove the oil seal of the input shaft, - try not to damage the sealing surface of the shaft journal and a landing slot in the crankcase.
- To avoid damage to the new oil seal, wrap the splined shaft of the trunnion (3) a layer of tape.
- Using a suitable mandrel, Put on the regular place new oil seal.
- Remove the masking tape and install the transfer case on the car (see. Section Removal and installation of a distributing box).
- Check the level of oil poured into the box, if necessary, make appropriate adjustment, - the oil level should reach the lower edge of the control / filler opening.
- Finally, start the engine and check the transfer case for signs of leaks.
