PERFORMANCE ORDER

Details of the installation of the planetary gear are shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text.
Remove the chain drive assembly (13 and 13a) (see. Section Replacing the gland front output shaft).
Pulling up, release of planetary assembly (18) rear output shaft (19).
Pulling also up, remove the transfer case assembly of a planetary gear unit (18).
Installation is in the reverse order.
Finally, check the transfer case for signs of leaks.
