Removal and installation of the lock of a steering column lock
Details of installation of the lock shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text. Details of installation of the lock of a steering column lock Withdrawal | - Remove the lock cylinder (36) (see. Section Removal and installation of the cylinder ignition).
- Remove the steering wheel (120) and a spiral pin reel (see. Section Removal and installation of the steering wheel and the spiral track of the drum of the steering column).
- Remove the combined steering column switch (S4) (see chap. Onboard electric equipment).
- Separate the trim panel (88).
- Disconnect the connector (a) contact switch (37q) of the adjusting lever (93).
- On models with AT remove the steering lock switch lock, - squeeze the latch and pull the lock back, removing it from the mounting clips.
- Leaning forward, remove the lock the transponder (s).
- To avoid damaging the steering shaft splines at dislodging the cylindrical pin (37s), screw the bolt (32c).
- Pull down the adjusting lever (93).
- With a suitable punch knock out the castle of the assembly (37) a cylindrical pin (37s), - the lower the guide pin is disabled.
- Releasing the latch, disunite pin (b).
- Remove the lock (37).
- Remove contact switch (37q).

Setting | - Connect the contact switch (37q) to the new lock (37).
- Put in place the connector (b), - track reliability snaps into place.
- Install a new lock on the steering column, having tracked correctness of landing assembly (arrow).
- Fill in the lock (37), a cylindrical pin (37s), - tighten the upper and lower sections of the castle forceps.
- Put in place a contact switch (32q), make sure of serviceability of its functioning.
- Remove the bolt (32c).
- Put the lock (37) Transponder (s).
- On models with AT connect to the castle shiftlock.
- Connect the wiring harness (a) to the contact switch adjustment lever.
- Install the trim panel (88).
- Set the combination switch (S4).
- Install a spiral pin drum and a steering wheel (120) (see. Section Removal and installation of the steering wheel and the spiral track of the drum of the steering column).
- Install the lock cylinder (36) (see. Section Removal and installation of the cylinder ignition).
- Fix the steering column, holding up adjustment lever (93).
