Replacing the anthers of gear

Details of installation of the boot rack and pinion housing

PERFORMANCE ORDER

All the self-locking nuts and bolts must be replaced without fail! Details of installation of anther shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text. Visually assess the condition of the anthers (see. Section Assessment of hinges of steering drafts and anther housing rack and pinion). Remove the tie rod end (see. Section Removal and installation of tips of steering draft). Loosen the tie rod lock nut (10i). Remove the outer (11b) and the inner (11a) clamps. Remove the boot (11). Replace O-ring (23k). Rate the apparent condition of the rails, and the amount of movement of the internal hinge fastening tie rod, replace defective components. Installation is in the reverse order.
